Double OD Incident Ends With One Fatality In Area

A double overdose ended with the death of one man in the area, police said.

The incident took place around 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 8, on Hillside Road, said Beacon Police Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson.

An unidentified woman was saved with a dose of Narcan, he said.

Another unidentified man was not able to be saved, Johnson said.

Additional details were not immediately available pending notification of next of kin.
